We have a 7 year old, 6 year old and a 2 year old. When we first started homeschooling our youngest was not even 2 years old yet. I was very unsure how I was going to keep a homeschool schedule with a baby in the house and even more scared of how I would homeschool with a toddler. Toddlers are so active! Ours is no exception :) Having a good homeschool schedule is pretty important, but I'd say it is just as important to be flexible. Being a homeschooling mom is tough, we don't need to make it harder on ourselves by having a strict homeschool schedule. If you have been homeschooling very long you probably know that even without homeschooling with toddlers - a homeschool schedule is easily changed very quickly :) Not all days homeschooling with a young child is easy and like I said, in order to get things done I do end up giving him screen time. I am okay with that. Thankfully I also have a variety of tricks up my sleeve to make homeschooling with toddlers a bit easier (some days haha!)
